Global Data Solutions Inc. GDS a leading provider of IT products and services to government organizations, has been awarded the 8(a) STARS II (Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services II) GWAC (Governmentwide Acquisition Contract) Contract by the General Services Administration.
The 8(a) STARS II contract is another Government-wide Acquisition Contract enabling GDS, to provide IT & IT related services in over one hundred labor categories. This award following the recent award of SeaPort-e by the Navy provides another service delivery vehicle to both civilian agencies and all DoD agencies.
GDS is extremely pleased to be selected as a GSA 8(a) STARS II Industry Partner. We are confident that our experience and attention to detail will make this contract a success.
The 8(a) STARS II program is reserved exclusively for qualifying certified 8(a) small business concerns as the prime contractors per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.8.
